Lift A Sail Review

Yellowcard is known for the frenetic, high energy music that full of emotion.  Eleven years ago, the first label album, Ocean Avenue released and has become a certifiable classic among the Yellowcard fanbase.

Last week, their new album, Lift A Sail was released.

While the emotion is still present, there is a maturity and an understanding about life that only comes from growing up, which as we all know can be painful at times.  The boys have also used their music to assist in humanitarian efforts. The video for One Bedroom tells the story of a young man kidnapped by the group known as The Lord’s Resistance Army, led by Joseph Kony.

I’ve been fan of Yellowcard since Ocean Avenue.  This album does not disappoint.

I recommend it.
