In the early 1960’s, Meg Pryor (Brittany Snow) is a good girl in the TV series American Dreams. Bob Dylan said that the times are a changing, and he was right.
Meg’s dream is to be a dancer on American Bandstand with her best friend, Roxanne (Vanessa Lengies). Meg’s brother, JJ (Will Estes) is trying to define his life on his own terms instead of following his father’s path in life. Meg’s parents, Helen and Jack (Gail O’Grady and Tom Verica) are struggling to understand their lives as parents and partners in a ever changing world.
This show was cancelled after three years. It was one of those shows that could have been on the air for a few more years, but atlas, the TV G-ds chose otherwise.
But at the end of the day, it was a good show with excellent music.
I recommend this show.
