No matter where you are in the world, growing up is universal.
In the early 90’s, the television show Blossom (1990-1995) was based around Blossom Russo (Mayim Bialik), a teenage girl who wishes her life was normal. Her mother is out of the picture. Her single father, Nick (Ted Wass) does the best he can for her and her brothers Joey (Joey Lawrence) and Anthony (Michael Stoyanov). Adding a little more female energy to mix is Blossom’s best friend Six LeMeure (Jenna Von Oy).
Yes, this show ended twenty years ago. The clothes, the music and lingo are a bit outdated. But being a teenager, growing up and dealing with everything that happens at that stage of life has not change and will never change.
I recommend it.
