Throwback Thursday-Just Shoot Me (1997-2003)

The workplace can often be mined for ideas for stories.

In the late 1990’s/early 2000’s television show, Just Shoot Me (1997-2003), Maya Gallo (Laura San Giacomo) is a journalist who just lost another job after changing an anchorwoman’s copy on the teleprompter, forcing her to cry while on screen. The only job she can find is at Blush, the fashion magazine run by her father Jack Gallo, (George Segal). The interesting mix of personalities at the office include former model Nina Van Horn (Wendie Malick), smart ass secretary Dennis Finch (David Spade) and photographer with a wandering eye Elliot DiMauro (Enrico Colantoni).

The best stories are the ones that universal. We all have our fair share of workplace stories, whether they be good, bad or in between.

Do I recommend it? Sure, why not?
