In our modern world we sometimes think that certain communicable diseases and dying from such diseases are a thing of the past.
What we think and what the truth is can be very different things.

I’m not a medical professional, nor am I a parent, but logic tells me that the anti-vaxxers need to get their heads out their proverbial behinds. Vaccinations save lives, especially the lives of young children who are too young to get the vaccine.
Please, if you have not vaccinated your children, please do so. If not for your sake, do it for their sake. If not for their sake, for the sake of their friends and classmates. If not for the sake of your children’s friends and classmates, do it for your community.
Good parenting requires one to put one’s child’s needs before your needs. That includes their health and the necessary vaccines that could save lives.
