Hindsight is always 20/20. That does not mean, however, that we are stuck in the past. We can learn from the past, if, we are willing to understand that a mistake has been made.
Randy Rainbow released his new video on Thursday. Entitled Lock Him Up Yesterday! – A Randy Rainbow Song Parody, Rainbow uses the Beatles’ song Yesterday to underscore the fact that the former guy should not have skated the law for as long as he has been allowed to.
Only Rainbow can take a beloved song like Yesterday and use it to emphasize what many Americans knew all along. This man has broken multiple laws and must get his day in court. Just because he is a former President does not mean that he is immune from prosecution.
The only way to make it clear that what he did is wrong (legally speaking) is to let the justice system do its job. If he is allowed to get away scot-free, this opens the door to events that I do not ever want to consider as a possibility.
