Flashback Friday-React Channel (2010-Present)

A good Youtube series has to have the following qualities: compelling, entertaining, and the desire to for the audience to want to come back for more.

Since 2010, the React Channel on Youtube has been seen by millions of viewers. Created by the Fine Brothers, the channel that includes series such as Kids React and Elders React, has created a niche that is unique to the Internet age.

As a viewer, I can’t help but be addicted to this channel and its various series. It is so good that one could watch for hours, forgetting everything else.

I recommend it.

Throwback Thursday-Honest Trailers (2012-Present)

Sometimes, the entertainment industry takes itself a little too seriously.

In 2012, Screen Junkies premiered a new web series. Entitled Honest Trailers, each episode contains a series of parody movie trailers.

I love this series. Each trailer is gut bustingly funny, calling out the obvious flaws in their subjects in a manner than only parody allows. It is no wonder than in eight years, millions of viewers have watched these videos.

I absolutely recommend it.

Feeling Old

Jimmy Fallon has great taste in television. And he has made me feel quite old. A few years ago, he reunited the California Dreams cast.

This morning, a youtube video was released of a partial Saved By The Bell Reunion. The 90’s child in me did a happy dance.

Happy Thursday!
