One of the things I appreciate about podcasts is that they give the ordinary person a voice that they did not have previously.
Jew in City Speaks has been releasing episodes for nearly a decade. Hosted by Allison Josephs, the purpose is twofold. The first is to dispel the myths about Orthodox Jews. The second is to ensure that representation on the screen and the stage is fully rounded and not based on stereotypes.
I enjoy this podcast. The discussions are both entertaining and informative, opening the door to much-needed conversations that are overdue. My hope is that it will change hearts and minds and lead to a better world.
Do I recommend it? Yes.
